Find Your Voice

Miss Chance is an absolutely magnificent vocal teacher!! I have been singing professionally for over 15 years. As I am always working on new things and always working to improve, I like to periodically take vocal lessons as needed. I’ve studied with different people over the years and I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for Miss Chance and how much I truly appreciate working with her!  I found Miss Chance online and was so impressed with her instructional videos and her voice that I reached out for lessons and I can’t believe how glad I am that I did! After I reached out, she got back to me immediately and she was extremely supportive of and receptive to my goals and desires. We promptly began lessons right after that.  I wanted to work on some very specific issues and she was so fantastic right from the beginning. Mine were issues that I’ve been trying to break through for a while and I had never been able to really get there. Lessons with her have been absolutely transformative for my singing! She is so attentive to every detail and she really hears the deep specifics of where I need to adjust, she knows exactly what I need to do to adjust, and then she knows how to instruct me to make the adjustment. And she has also heard and seen other things that needed some adjustment that I wasn’t even aware of and helped me to improve in those areas as well. Working with her has drastically improved my breathing, support, tone and the main thing I’ve been working on which is strengthening my “mix” voice.  She is also so patient, kind and diligent even when I was struggling to break through in a challenging area. She was so encouraging and assured me that I would break through, even when I wasn’t sure that I would and then and I did! I’ve never had a voice coach who went into such specific detail about the mechanics of what I was doing and then who was able direct me to the right approach so accurately and specifically. She really knows her stuff! And she has such an astute and intense focus as she teaches. She is extremely present and aware of even the smallest details. Her voice is amazing and inspiring and she is incredibly knowledgeable. She can demonstrate so beautifully what needs to be done which helps so much. And she communicates so gently and directly, and perfectly gets right to the heart of things. In all of this, she’s always wonderfully positive, encouraging and joyous and just a delight to work with.  I am absolutely overjoyed that I found her and I plan to continuing working with her as new challenges or desires arise for me as I keep developing my instrument. She’s simply marvelous!”
